About

no idea is a Mythic Cutting-Edge-oriented guild that raids two times a week during Saturday & Sunday mornings to afternoon from 11 AM - 3 PM EST. Established in 2014 around the middle of Siege of Orgrimmar tier. Previously, we've remained the top 2-day guild and weekend guild on Illidan-US up to the Uldir tier in BFA. Since then, we've been raiding on and off however, achieving most Cutting Edge achievements during each raid tier remains a major focus to this day, with the additional goal of increasing our competitiveness against the top weekend and two-day guilds.

Guild Charter

1. Atmosphere

We aim to maintain a focused but relaxed raid environment. Disruptive behavior is not tolerated. All members should treat each other with respect. Constructive feedback is welcomed when communicated respectfully.

2. Efficiency

High attendance is essential. We maintain a roster of ~25 raiders to cover absences and optimize comps. If you plan to step away, please give at least two weeks' notice.

Note: Occasionally being rotated out is not a reflection of your skill but a comp decision. Stay raid-ready — Cutting Edge is a group goal.

⚙️ Expectations:

🕒 Be on time and fully prepared (consumables, updated addons, WeakAuras, etc.).
🎭 Play the spec/class you're most comfortable with during progression.
📈 Strive to improve through logs and performance reviews.

3. Progression

We raid only two days — no alt or Heroic days. Get your dungeon prep done before raid.

🚀 Expectations:

📚 Study boss mechanics ahead of time.
🧪 Use consumables and cooldowns smartly.
💉 Healers should DPS when possible.
📊 Prioritize: Mechanics > Adds > DPS/Healing.

Additional Guidelines

📌 Check Discord Daily: Read and contribute to raid planning.
🧭 Late or Absent? Post in #late or #absent. Telling an officer is not enough.
🚫 Minimize AFKs: We have a 15-minute break. Save personal breaks for then.
📚 Research Your Class & Encounters: Use Class Discords, Warcraft Logs, and WoWhead.
💰 BoEs: Must be traded to the GM or guild bank. Loot Council will decide upgrades. Non-upgrades are sold for guild supplies.
🎯 Trial Period: Lasts 4–6 weekends. We're looking for:
- ✅ Strong attendance
- 🤝 Integration into the guild beyond raid logging
- 🔥 Effort and motivation for CE
- 🧠 Willingness to build rapport — this helps on tougher bosses
